At the 9:00 am service children and J-high youth are invited to go straight to Fellowship Hall. People will be onsite to help you with directions if needed. Children will stay in Fellowship Hall for a special Easter program while J-high students will then go up to the youth room for their program. Children's Check-in will be located right outside of Fellowship Hall. If you plan on having your child/children attend the 9:00 am Easter program please consider early check-in. You can simply e-mail Brie and let her know your child/children will be there and we will have nametags waiting for them when they arrive. Early check-in also allows for more time to check in any visitors we may have that day.

During the 11:00 am service on Easter Sunday children and youth are invited to be in worship. Childcare will be open during this service.

Place flowers on our cross!

On Easter Sunday as you come to worship with us, please consider bringing flowers, perhaps from your garden, to place on the cross that will be in our lawn on the corner of Fourth St. and L St., as we celebrate and rejoice His resurrection on this magnificent day!

Holy Week: A Spiritual Journey to Easter

It is a journey that goes from excitement, through uncertainty, betrayal, denial, deep sorrow, despair, and culminates in the ultimate joy of the resurrection.  Join us on this Holy Week journey - may it strengthen and deepen your relationship with God through Jesus Christ as you walk in the footsteps of his last seven days.

Palm Sunday, March 25th, 8:30 am chapel, 10:00 am sanctuary
The Holy Week journey begins on Palm Sunday. On this day, we joyfully remember the triumphal entry into Jerusalem and remember Jesus humbly riding on a donkey as palm branches are laid before him. During this service, we experience the excitement through a procession of palm branches, brightly colored scarves, and the sound of vibrant, percussive Hosanna will be led by our children’s JAM and Sanctuary Choir!

Maundy Thursday, March 29th 7:00 pm service, Sanctuary
On Maundy Thursday, we experience the Last Supper between Jesus and his disciples.During this service, our journey takes a turn toward uncertainty and fear as we remember Judas' betrayal, Peter's denial, and Jesus' arrest. Daniel Baldwin’s Landscapes will be offered by Clarinet, Bassoon, Horn and Piano in the spirit of meditation.

Good Friday, March 30th at 7:00pm service, Sanctuary (childcare provided)
Good Friday is a dark and mournful point in our journey through Holy Week.  During this service, we remember the day that Jesus was crucified, died, and was buried. This is a Tenebrae Service (Service of Shadows) in which we immerse ourselves in the darkness that surrounded Jesus in his last hours. The shadows of Good Friday give depth to the brightness of Easter, and in this service remember Jesus' journey to the cross through a series of readings and hymns, music from individuals and pieces offered by our Sanctuary Choir and Celebration Chimes.

Labyrinth Walk following the service, out in our courtyard. This will begin at approximately 8:00 pm

Easter Sunday, April 1st: Traditional services, 9:00 & 11:00 am sanctuary
Christ is risen...he is risen indeed! The glory of this day is much more meaningful having walked with Jesus through all the emotions of Holy Week. Our voices joyfully join in the celebratory songs of resurrection with choir, bells, piano, instruments and organ.
