BLAST Kindergarden to 5th grade - Biblical Learning And Spiritual Training, 10:00 service

Our BLAST Sunday morning program is for Kindergarten through 5th grade. At FPCL we believe children hold a special place in God’s Kingdom as well as in our church fellowship. So BLAST kids start in the big church with their families, and are released from worship to adult leaders that shepherd them to their classrooms. Each month, children will rotate by grade level through four different Bible-based interactive workshops. Our desire in BLAST is to help children hear God’s word, understand His unconditional love for them, and have fun while growing in faith.

BLAST Workshops:

Creative Expressions
Craft making of all kind include painting, sculpting, collage making, beading, and more. There is time for sharing prayer concerns and discussion of scripture.
Loaves and Fishes Café
Cooking projects, baking and food activities are used to highlight Biblical stories and lessons.
Exploratorium
Engaging individual and team-oriented games are always a hit, espcially with a trip to the treasure box at the end of class. Bible study is adapted for each age group in this workshop.
BLAST Theater
Once a month K-5th grade gather together in our upper multi-media room to watch a movie related to the monthly Bible story. Engaging Q&A and popcorn rounds out the movie experience.
