FPCL Neighbor2Neighbor Community Day of Service, Sunday, September 30th
Neighbor2Neighbor is a day of connections and service. Connections to communities in need, connections to God, and connections to each other make this is a day you just can’t miss. Consider inviting a friend or an entire family, sports team or book club to serve with you this year! Our projects can accommodate large numbers of volunteers of various ages and abilities.

B.Y.O.G – Build Your Own Group! Projects will factor in size, interest and ability of your group
Gather/form your own work group [from your small group, bible study, neighbors, friends, families of your kids friends :-)]. The church staff will work with you to identify and/or plan a project for whatever group you want to form. Email us if you want to talk in greater detail about forming your own group!
Blessing Bags: Great for all ages and abilities
Join a crew assembling travel sized hygiene items that will be distributed to local organizations serving the homeless for weekly showers.
Donations of supplies (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc.) are welcome up until N2N Sunday! Just drop in main church office or children’s ministry office.
Blessing Blankets: Great for all ages and abilities
Fleece Blankets for Seek and Save. Participants will tie fringe of fleece to be given to women who have been trafficked and rescued.
City of Livermore/LARPD:
Volunteers will team up to work on multiple projects for LARPD. Projects will include painting park benches, planting trees and spreading bark in landscape beds. Location details will be shared closer to the date of N2N itself.
Finn Farm: Great for all ages and abilities
Pick tomatoes and squash and deliver to Senior Housing. Plant whatever is available at this time.
Habitat for Humanity Playhouse Build #1:
Support the great work of Habitat for Humanity while building a playhouse that will be given to a local organization to assist their work with children & families. This project involves building/assembling playhouse kit as well as decorating the playhouse for children to enjoy.

This project is for Middle School students, High School students & youth advisors only and involves building a playhouse that will be given to a local organization to assist their work with children & families. This project involves building/assembling playhouse kit as well as decorating the playhouse for children to enjoy.
Hagemann Farm (SATURDAY, 29th PROJECT)
Assist in the preservation of Livermore’s historic Hagemann Farm. Buildings need light maintenance. During lunch, the Heritage Guild will present the history of the Hagemann Farm, along with a tour. (If you’re a non-painter there’ll be other work to do!)
Jackson Elementary School:
Support one of our local elementary schools by painting playground play area as well as various landscaping/maintenance improvements. Playground is used by TK & kindergarten children and was first painted by FPCL members years ago but is in need of some refreshing!
Kid’s Bike Lane: Seasoned bike repair enthusiasts are in high need this year!
Repair and maintain bikes for local kids and homeless through this group founded by FPCL members.
Letters of Love: Great for all ages and abilities
Join us to write letters or draw pictures of thanks and support to our service women and men and missionaries.
Rise Against Hunger: Great for all ages and abilities
Assemble 10,000 meals. Pour and bag multiple vitamin-fortified ingredients from bulk, into quart-sized bags to be distributed internationally to those in need, in partnership with Rise Against Hunger. Training is provided!
